BELTLINE - DISTRICT STUDIOS

As an independent business owner and entrepreneur myself, I was thrilled when I was asked to design Violet Hill Studio – an amazing hair salon located in District Studios in the Beltline. As soon as I spoke to the owner and stylist Annah I knew this project was going to be ah-maz-ing! Her infectious energy and undeniable love for what she does was so inspiring that it made designing this space so much fun! Ergonomics was of the utmost importance for this salon as hairdressers are on their feet all day. It was essential that the design flowed to work with her movements and to ensure that everything had its very own dedicated place, right down to the last foil. It was important to Annah not only to have the space function for her but to be inviting and comfortable for her clientele. We even added a leather foot stool and lumbar pillow for the wash station so that clients can truly relax and unwind while Annah pampers you!
